Cori Bush is a lifelong resident of St. Louis, Missouri and has held many titles in her life: pastor, working mom, registered nurse, Black Lives Matter activist, and candidate for Congress.

As the Nursing Supervisor of Hopewell Health Centers, Bush knows first-hand how our healthcare system is failing and how to fix it. As a self-described ‘Ferguson-made activist’ and local pastor, she knows all too well the struggles facing our nation and the challenges facing our local communities.

Netflix captured her 2018 run for office in the documentary Knock Down The House. In 2020, we were proud to support her successful campaign to become the next member of Congress for Missouri’s first congressional district.
