Selker is a renowned earth scientist who holds a PhD in Agricultural Water Engineering from Cornell University. He currently serves as Distinguished Professor at Oregon State University and runs a successful high-tech environmental monitoring business, SelkerMetrics, since 2009.
Selker is running a competitive campaign in Oregon’s 4th Congressional District, held by retiring incumbent Peter DeFazio.
