Kamala Harris just said it's NEVER been more important to elect pro-choice women to office. We're proudly supporting nearly 200 pro-choice women in science and healthcare (more than ever before!) in the toughest races: Can we count on you to donate so we have the resources to elect them?
Kim Schrier made history in 2018 as the first and only pro-choice woman physician to serve as a voting member in the U.S. Congress, where she represents Washington’s eighth congressional district. WA-08 was considered one of the most competitive U.S. House races of the 2018 and 2020 elections—outside Republican groups have dumped millions into trying to win back this seat and have added Schrier to their list of offensive targets in 2022.
Prior to her election, Kim was a pediatrician, serving the Puget Sound region for sixteen years. As someone who was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at an early age, Kim is familiar with the struggles that families face to afford medication and health care. As one of only two woman doctors in Congress, Kim brings a unique perspective.
