Elect Scientists

Our mission is unique: to recruit, train, and elect scientists and other Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) leaders to public office. In 2018, with nationwide grassroots-driven support, we helped elect eight scientists to the U.S. House of Representatives, one to the U.S. Senate, and more than 30 others to state legislatures across the country.

Now, we’re gearing up to flip the Senate, expand our ranks in the House and build a pipeline of STEM leaders at the state and local levels.

“I dream of a world where the truth is what shapes people’s politics, rather than politics shaping what people think is true.”

Neil deGrasse Tyson

“I do not share your view that the scientist should observe silence in political matters”

Albert Einstein, 1933

“We find ourselves in a moment of reckoning. Are we going to guide our future by science, reason, and knowledge, or are we going to succumb to superstition, ignorance, and propaganda?”

Dan Rather
