314 Action is the only national organization working to recruit, train, and elect Democratic scientists and doctors to office. For over a decade, we’ve elected over 700 scientists and doctors to the U.S. House of Representatives, U.S. Senate, and state and local offices across the country with support from over half a million grassroots supporters.

Dr. Kim Schrier speaks in front of the Capitol about the importance of replacing Health Secretary Kennedy with a leader who understands and leads with science.

Guardians of Public Health

The Guardians of Public Health program is a targeted recruitment campaign and a $25 million commitment to elect 100 new doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals to Congress and across 50 states by 2030. This is the first time 314 Action has directly targeted doctors to run for office.

In 2026, a record number of doctors are running for office to stand up to Trump and RFK Jr.
