(Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) — 314 Action Fund today endorsed Representative Allison Russo for Secretary of State in Ohio. As a public health leader, with a Masters in epidemiology and Doctor of Public Health, Russo is a Guardian of Public Health candidate. She’s answering the call to serve her community as 314 Action works to elect 100 new doctors, nurses and health care professionals to office by 2030.

Representative Allison Russo has spent four terms in the Ohio House of Representatives and served as the Minority Leader of the House. Throughout her tenure in the legislature, she authored and co-authored dozens of bills signed into law, protecting Ohioans’ health and democracy. Before being elected to office, Russo spent 20 years working to solve our greatest policy challenges in health care, improving care for seniors, veterans, and vulnerable communities. She’s earned national recognition for her work on mental health, early childhood, aging, and disability issues. She holds a Doctor of Public Health in Health Policy and a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology. 314 Action first endorsed Russo for Ohio’s House of Representatives in 2018 and again for U.S. Congress in 2021.
