(Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) — 314 Action Fund today endorses Jake Johnson for Minnesota’s 1st Congressional District. Earlier this year, 314 Action named MN-01 as one of the top under-the-radar races to watch.
“As a high school math teacher, Jake is a natural problem-solver. Jake Johnson has been a high school math teacher for the past 20 years, teaching AP calculus through remedial math at Rochester Public Schools. His dedication to his students has made him a two-time recipient of the highest recognition in the state for math education. He is running for Congress to bring down costs, take on corruption, and invest in small towns, so that his students have a shot at the American Dream just like he did. Johnson has already raised over $1 million dollars, with 95% of the contributions as $100 or less. Recent polling shows Johnson just 3 points behind Finstad, well within the margin of error.
