Congressman Sean Casten is a biochemical engineer, scientist, and clean energy entrepreneur. In 2018, Sean became the first Democrat to flip Illinois’s 6th Congressional District in almost half a century.
Prior to joining Congress, Sean worked for and developed businesses aiming to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and optimizing energy production practices. He has worked as a consultant for Arthur D. Little, served as the CEO and president of Turbostream Corporation, and co-founded Recycled Energy Development, LLC.
