Today 314 Action Fund, the nation’s only organization dedicated to recruiting, training and electing doctors and scientists endorsed Nirav Shah for Maine governor. As a public health professional, Shah is a Guardian of Public Health candidate. He’s answering the call to serve his community as 314 Action works to elect 100 new doctors, nurses and health care professionals to office by 2030.
Through Guardians of Public Health, 314 Action is working to elect 100 new doctors, up and down the ballot and across the nation by 2030, raising and spending over $25 million in the effort.

Nirav Shah served as the Maine CDC Director during an unprecedented public health crisis where his leadership served as a blueprint for the nation. He rebuilt the agency after it had been decimated by the previous Republican administration. Nirav was then tapped to become the Principal Deputy Director of the U.S. CDC during President Joe Biden’s administration.
