Dr. Thomas Fisher is a board-certified emergency medical doctor and has spent over two decades working in the same South Side Chicago community where he was raised. In the emergency department he serves everyone, no matter their background, means, or immigration status. Thomas is also a 314 Action “Guardian of Public Health” candidate, answering the call to serve as our organization works to elect 100 new doctors to public office by 2030.
In 2010, Thomas was selected as a White House Fellow and since, has delivered policies and plans to create a better health care system for all. With experience in government, industry, and academia, he is running for Congress to improve lives and fix a broken System. As the future of public health and safety hangs in the balance, he will fight to restore and protect health care and stand up for science in Washington.
